SHARE YOUR TALENTS

In the Philippines we have  2 famous talent shows. WE have “the Voice” and we have also “Its show time “ puro kini sila mga talent shows.  We all know that these shows are intended to all Filipinos who want to improve their talents.

Ako pod baya anaa say talento. I learned how to play guitar when I was still in high school until now. After learning playing the guitar, I joined the choir in our place and learned how to sing hanggang ngayon kumakanta pa rin ako kahit na hindi masyadong maganda ang boses ko. Later on I became a guitarist in our chapel. Being not satisfied with guitar, I also tried to play the keyboard and used it to accompany the choir in the mass. I found out that this talent is very useful in every aspects of life.

 The Parable of the Talents is one of the stories Jesus told to teach a moral lesson. Ang talento nga gipadayag sa atong ebanghelyo karon refers to money. Atong ipaluag ang atong pagsabot niini. Seguro atong susihon kon unsa ang buot ipasabot sa word nga “talents” When we speak of talents it tells us about the capacity of every person, the capacity to do things extra ordinarily.

Kada usa kanato adunay talent tungod kay aduna kitay capacity to do things. Seguro ang uban gihatagan ug 5 ka talent, ang uban duha, o kaha ang uban usa lamang. Diha kita magsugod kon unsa ang anaa kanato nga talento.  This is the starting point of our life and it is up to us on how to develop these graces. If you are a good mother to your children, that is your talent; if you are good father, it is also a talent. All we need to do is to improve it by using our talents.

Sama sa estorya nga akong nabasahan gikan kang Fr. Nene Sinoy, nagkanayon kini:

“we need to share our talents and help build the church in this world. That is why if we have this: SMILING FACE- YOU CAN BE A GOOD USHERETTE. IF YOU HAVE A GOOD VOICE- A GOOD MEMBER OF THE CHOIR. PAG MATAPANG ANG IYONG MUKHA- YOU CAN BE A GOOD COLLECTOR. Sharo ug dili maghulog sa sabot ang manimbahay kon sipatsipatan na sa collector.”

Mga igsoon karong adlawa gihagit kita sa Dios sa pagpalambo ug pagpaambit sa mga talento nga ania kanato. Ayaw tago tagoi kay basin ug bawion kana sa Dios. Ipakita nga ikaw maayo niana nga butang. You have the capacity to do things extra ordinarily because you have the talent. Don’t be afraid. Show it to everyone. Allow it to grow so that someday, somehow, you will reap a good harvest.
