BE WATCHFUL
Usa ka grupo
sa taga simbahan ang nagcarolling, pag-abot nila sa usa ka balay, adunay
karatula nga nakasulat: “Mag-ingat sa ASo” . sa ilang pagsulod wala may iro nga
dagko gagmay man hinuon kaayo nga nanghigda sa salog. Busa nangutana ang usa
kanila: “Sir, ingon sa karatula mag-ingat sa aso, gagmay man lagi kaayo ning
inyong mga iro.” Ang tagbalay mitubag, “ mao gani nga mag-ingat sa aso kay basin
matumban ninyo sa kagagmay”.
Jesus Christ
in our Gospel today admonished us to be watchful
all the time. Be alert. The Lord our God will surely come and yet we do not
know the real time. What is real is that he will surely come. The coming of the
Lord is the end time to all of us. We will consider two things here, our death
and the judgment day.
In reality
human being will die. We will surely die because nobody in this world will stay
forever. Everything is passing. What is important is to prepare ourselves for
the death that will surely come. Be watchful and be alert is a reminder not to
be tempted by the devil, it is a reminder not to sin but to care; not to hate
but to love.
Time will
come when our Lord Jesus will judge the living and the dead. Are we ready for
that time? Are you being watchful to the
need of other people? If you try to evaluate yourself today, are you sure that
you will go to heaven?
Today, we
are challenge to be alert and watchful all the time. This may mean to be good and real person, who
knew everything what is good and avoid an evil one.
Be watchful!
